About Ernst Wilhelm

Ernst Wilhelm started his career in astrology as an avid student of Western Astrology after having the good fortune of having his chart read by an astrologer who, after the reading, insisted on teaching him how to manually calculate a horoscope. After a short term of practicing Western Astrology as profession, Ernst turned his attention towards Vedic Astrology from India, for it was in India that the largest amount of astrological knowledge has been preserved. After studying all the available texts it became quite obvious to Ernst that only a handful of texts where thoroughly scientific in nature and these were all ancient texts written in Sanskrit. Discarding the rest, he devoted himself to the sole study of these most worthwhile texts and wrote several books based on the principles found in these ancient Sanskrit books. The necessary research to cull the truth out of these great ancient texts required a software that calculates the scientific aspects of astrology, for which reason he has developed Kala Vedic Astrology Software with the help of his wife Srishti, a software engineer. In recent years Ernst also created relationship report software and he hopes to produce more interpretive text and more interpretive software in the years to come. I believe that it may have been renamed Vedic is because it is the more properly the ancient origin, I believe. And, ‘Hindu’ is an insulting name to those of the Sanatan Dharm.
I am a disciple of yoga since 1968 and recently became a member of the Sadhan Order. Sri Prabhu Ram Lal is my Guru.
Yet, I’m a Sabian Astrologer…what little time remains for me on this Earth has to be spent rectifying and expanding its use. I wish I had another one or two hundred years left to study other systems as well.
I do hope you take the time to read some of my threads at actastrology under my ‘other’ name David Mastrogiovanni. I asked Michael to change my name to Mastry but he must be awfully busy.
I’ve also a book published that has been given the nod by other Sabian Astrologers and have gotten much encouragement by Lynda Hill…she, in fact, has accepted my offer to co-author my/our next book on Sabian Symbolism and the Arabic Parts.
    Namaste my fellow stargazer.
    Hare Krishna Hare Rama.

Hi David, good to hear from you, and yes I will check out your Sabian blog. Sabian symbols I have used in the past to great results, they are very interesting.
